Enlèvements was created during the year 2006. It’s made from three video loops of 10 minutes each. The project is a proposal thought about the concept of place. Rolls of paper are spread over landscape parts, erasing the street. Passers-by are invited to use the public space as usual. A single camera tapes different people, at different times, as they enter, walk in and exit the white area. As they go, the abstract passers-by give the dimention of space to this artificial neutral place.

Le projet Enlèvements a été réalisé au cours de l’année 2006. Il est composé de trois boucles vidéo synchronisées et projetées, d’une dizaine de minutes chacune. Le projet propose une réflexion sur la notion de lieu. A l’aide de grandes surfaces blanches de papier, certaines parties de trottoir, de façades ont été couvertes. Le glissement de terrain qui se joue, s’accomplit à mesure de la traversée du champ cadré par la caméra. L’individu est abstrait de son contexte et devient une indication pour comprendre l’espace dans lequel il est exposé.
